What online software does your system use?
Our software platform is totally custom built by our in-house team of developers. All of our founders are or were operators with a focus on building a platform for operators.
Can I have more details about how it integrates seamlessly?
The VendingOps platform integrates with nearly every card reader on the market using a standard interface called VDI. VDI is short for Vending Data Interchange. This allows our system to ingest a ton of data about your vending machine on a regular interval. If you;d like to learn more about our data integration process, give us a call or setup an appointment with one of our sales engineers and we'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Does it work with vending machines?
Yes. Our software works with virtually all card readers on the market today. As long as it supports MDB and/or DEX it can work on our platform.
I'm not able to save any information my machine.
I am sorry that you're experiencing an issue saving. Please check to make sure any required fields are filled in properly. That's often the reason why a page wont let you save it. If you're still having issues, ask to speak with a person or call our support desk.
What is MDB
MDB is short for Multi Drop Bus. This is the technology protocol that virtually all modern vending machines use today to communicate between the main control board and the payment interfaces like the bill validator, coin mechaism and card reader. The MDB cable is a daisy chain style cable that links to these devices in a series, and uses a 3x2 male/female connector to connect these devices together.
Does your software integrate with arcade equipment?
It doesnt yet, but it will in the near future! If you'd like, leave us your information and I'll contact you once that feature becomes available.
I'm confused. Do you have to get the card readers to use the software?
You do need card readers to use our software, but you do not have to use our own readers. We're compatible with most all readers on the market.
is there a place for the filler to update a best buy date on the app
We dont currently have expiration date management in our platform. However it is a feature that our team is actively working on. It should be available within the next few months.

so how do i create a pick list for a machine?
Just navigate to trips, then select the route you'd like to get started with. Now select the machines you'd like to service and then continue through the prompts. You can do this in the mobile app or on the web app. Whichever is most convenient for you.
Is there the ability to enter and manually track vending machines only an MDB Interface?
Yes. We are able to interpret MDB data from most vending machine card readers today. This is often best setup though a quick support call with one of our support engineers by calling us at 989-445-4100 during normal business hours.

where to find my payment to you for my receipt.
Are you in vendingops already? If you click on your name after logging into the vending ops platform, you can then select Billing to see all your billing settings and receipts there.
Are you able to integrate with machines that don't use MDB?
We do integrate with machines that use Coin Pulse, Marshall Protocol, USB and RS232 today.
Hi, can you send me information on upgrade path from Cantaloupe kiosk / 365 kiosks to using Moneta and you guys instead? I udnerstand that right now you can't support these other kiosk brands with the VMS
We support a range of kiosks and card readers today. This would be something that would be best done with one of our sales engineers. Would you provide your contact info and I can have one of them get back in contact with you soon?
does this program calculate cogs and sale tax?
Yes it does! We can calculate it right within the application. Plus you can easily run reports on it too!
add vending machine to system
Its often best to wait until your machine sends its first dex into our software after you initially configure it. This automatically creates the machine in your list of machines. If you need help configuring your card readers first, I can help with that too. Otherwise, To manually add a machine to your account, navigate to "Machines and Markets" on the left navigation menu, then click "Add Machine or Market".
Can your readers with with coin pulse or marshall protocol
Yes of course!
What means "Par"?
Par is the ideal inventory of an item in your machine. This can sometimes be the full row/lane of that machine, but often is less. This helps you better optimize the inventory of your machine to only load the lane/selection on the machine or market with only the amount of product that's needed each time you service it.
can I upload a product list?
Yes, we have a product import feature. Navigate to "Products" then select "import" at the top right of the page. You can download an import template from that page too.

do you support 2FA?
We do not currently offer 2FA at this time. However, our team is working to add that feature in the near future.
is this compatible with Cantaloupe care readers?
Yes, we are able to download data from all Cantaloupe readers today.

We dont have a bulk update from a spreadsheet feature today. However, we're working on adding that as a feature in the near future.
Does this pull data from the credit card sales in some way? I'm not sure what it means that your product is "compatible" with most credit card readers.
Yes, we download data from your card reader through their provider's data interface. For example, with Cantaloupe, we'll help you connect your readers through SeedLive. With Nayax, there's a tutorial on how to do in in the Nayax Core portal. And Endevor readers are already assigned to your account right out of the box when you receive them.
